As part of the machine/building maintenance team, the person in this position leads highly complex repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities, equipment, fixtures and systems. **DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:** - Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repair complex HVAC systems and equipment. - Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems. - Install, test, and commission HVAC equipment, including: - Chillers - Boilers - Air handling units (AHUs) - Rooftop units (RTUs) - Variable air volume (VAV) systems - Cooling towers - Pumps and motors - Split systems and VRF systems - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues. - Work with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and energy management systems. - Perform refrigerant recovery and charging in compliance with EPA regulations. - Monitor system performance and recommend operational improvements. - Coordinate major repairs and equipment replacements with contractors and vendors. - Ensure all work complies with OSHA, EPA, local codes, and company safety standards. - Complete work orders, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and documentation accurately. - Participate in emergency response and after-hours support as required. - Assist with project planning, scheduling, and system upgrades. #LI-onsite #LI-JM1 ## What We Are Looking For - High school diploma or GED required. - HVAC certification or trade school training preferred. - EPA Universal Certification required. - Minimum 8 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience. - Advanced knowledge of: - HVAC controls - Electrical systems - Refrigeration cycles - Variable frequency drives (VFDs) ## What We Offer **Compensation** **:** This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between **$68,000 - $89,250** annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
