Lead Electrical Specialist (7277)

**SUMMARY**: This position is responsible for overseeing all electrical systems and operations. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and infrastructure. The specialist will lead a team of technicians, coordinate projects, and serve as the primary technical resource for electrical systems across the property. This entails consistency performing our service expectations of: Welcoming, Proactive, Seamless, Personalized and Valued. - Continually coach and support Team Members to ensure they have the skills, tools and resources to successfully complete their jobs, including the delivering of the Five Star Experience expectations. - Lead and mentor electrical technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance. - Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, gaming equipment, HVAC controls, and emergency systems. - Perform preventive maintenance and respond to urgent repair requests promptly. - Plan and execute electrical upgrades, installations, and renovations in collaboration with other departments and contractors. - Review electrical upgrades schematics and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes. - Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. - Maintain accurate records of electrical work, permits, and inspections. - Assist in managing electrical supplies inventory and recommend cost-effective solutions. - Provide input for annual budgeting related to electrical systems. - Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS). - Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required. - Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment. - Able to make difficult decision in a fair and honest manner. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** Supervise directly and indirectly all employees of the Maintenance Department. Adhere to the Tribal organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carry out supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to: interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (MUST BE DOCUMENTED):** - High School diploma or equivalent. - Technical Certification or Associate Degree in Electrical Systems preferred. - Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory or lead role. - Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints an…
