We are looking for an individual who wants a leadership role, comfortable using their creativity to problem-solve repairs, works well independently, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and represents the company well with customers. **We Offer:** - **Pay range of $20 to $25 per hour:** including base pay and performance-based bonuses. - **Company Car:** each technician drives a branded company vehicle for job duties. - **Tools Provided:** all necessary tools and products are provided. - **Paid Time Off:** paid holidays and accrued vacation days. - **Paid Training:** includes onboarding, one-week new hire training, and ongoing surface repair training. - **Ongoing Support & Help Line:** Technician Support Team on call to assist with questions. - **Good Work/Life Balance:** no required nights or weekends. - **Small Business Culture:** local business owners work closely with teams and conducts weekly check-in meetings with teams. - **Supportive Work Environment:** teams celebrate achievements and collaborate in their approach to problem-solving. **Duties:** - Serve as Team Lead - share best practices, coach in the field, and contribute to our rapidly growing team. - In the field daily: generally completing 4 or more creative repairs on-site each day - Demonstrate world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff - Communicate with the support team with questions - Update progress on repairs by entering information and notes on our CRM/Dispatch tool - Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process - Problem-solving with repairs in a variety of settings such as apartments, hotels, moving sites, construction sites, etc. **Requirements:** - Background in fine finishing, automotive paint, cosmetology, artistic media, carpentry, flooring, or similar craft. 3-5 years of experience preferred. - Strong eye for color, pattern, and detail. - Comfortable with hand tools, light power tools, ladders, and onsite work. - Must be able to see, distinguish, and replicate colors: familiarity with color and color-matching is integral to our process. - Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. - Able to lift 25 lbs and spend extended periods on your feet. **Hiring Process:** - Within 24 hours: a live team member will reach out to all applicants - Within 48 hours: we’ll schedule an in-person interview **Watch:** [**A Day in the Life of a Surface Experts Technician**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ0nCFdtqqs) Surface Experts is an equal opportunity employer.
