**Job Title:** Lead Bartender **Company:** Kei Concepts **Location:** 16121 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 **Pay Range:** $18.00–$20.00 per hour+tips depending on experience ### About the Position Kei Concepts is looking for an experienced Lead Bartender to help support daily bar operations and create a positive guest experience. This position will prepare high-quality beverages, support the bartending team, and help maintain consistent service and bar standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working with others, has strong bartending knowledge, and can stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment. ### Responsibilities - Provide full-service dining support, including greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, entering orders into the point-of-sale system, serving food and drinks, checking in with guests, and processing payments - Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards - Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests - Support bartenders and bar support team members during service - Assist with training new bartenders on recipes, service standards, opening and closing procedures, and responsible alcohol service - Help ensure beverages are prepared accurately, consistently, and efficiently - Support a smooth flow of service during busy periods - Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar - Complete opening, closing, and assigned side-work duties - Monitor liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies - Inform management of low inventory, product shortages, equipment concerns, or operational needs - Assist with receiving, organizing, and properly storing bar inventory - Follow proper cash-handling and point-of-sale procedures - Verify guest identification and follow all applicable alcohol-service laws - Practice responsible alcohol service - Communicate clearly with management, servers, kitchen team members, and other employees - Assist with guest questions or concerns and involve management when appropriate - Follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and company procedures - Support additional bar-related responsibilities as needed ### Qualifications - Previous bartending experience required - Previous full-service restaurant experience preferred - Lead bartender, bar trainer, or supervisory experience preferred - Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service - Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent beverage quality - Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills - Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment - Positive and professional approach - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Food Handler Card certification required; paid training will be provided if needed - Responsible Beverage Service certification required or must be obtained within the legally required timeframe **Pay Range:** $18.00–$20.00 per hour plus tips, depending on experience
