Lead Actuary

We are growing fast and looking for an actuary who wants to help shape how we manage our product portfolio, not just analyze it. You will have real autonomy and the latitude to act on your expertise as a trusted partner to our insurance product managers, bringing sound recommendations to leadership backed by rigorous analysis. You will be close to the business day to day, with a clear view of where the line stands and where it is headed, and a direct role in the decisions that shape its growth and profitability. What You’ll Do: Be the #1 subject matter expert at Next related to the pricing of the target product offerings Build and enhance actuarial methodologies around loss ratio forecast, insurance analytics, and P&L management Partner with Insurance Product Managers to drive future product developments Build go-to-market predictive models in Akur8, perform impact analyses, and support product filings Perform competitor and market research Partner with data science and data engineering to enable future-proof data architecture Deliver actuarially sound recommendations to senior management Provide ad hoc support to other business partners, including but not limited to reinsurance, finance, distribution, claims, and growth teams.
