Laundry Handler

**LAUNDRY ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION** *Position Summary* The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service at Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center by processing, washing, drying, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Sort and process incoming laundry according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements - Operate industrial washing and drying equipment safely and efficiently - Follow proper chemical handling procedures and maintain appropriate cleaning solution levels - Fold and organize clean linens, towels, and uniforms according to department standards - Inspect textiles for stains, damage, or wear and handle accordingly - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility - Track inventory of linens and supplies - Support other departments with linen needs as required - Comply with all safety regulations and procedures - Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisor - Maintain a clean and organized work environment **Required Skills and Abilities** - Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repeated bending, stretching, and lifting - Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic mathematical skills for measuring cleaning solutions - Effective communication skills - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays *Working Conditions* - Work is performed indoors in a laundry facility environment - Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals - Regular physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting - Operation of industrial laundry equipment *Experience* - Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required - Training will be provided The Company offers competitive pay and benefits including: - Health Insurance (after qualifying period) - 401(k) Plan participation - Paid Time Off - Holiday Pay Villa Roma Resort & Conference Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
