Operating Laundry Equipment - Use industrial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently. - Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report any malfunctions or repairs needed. Inspecting Laundry Items - Check for stains, tears, or damage on linens and garments. - Treat stains and perform minor repairs (e.g., sewing small tears or replacing buttons). Stocking and Delivering Linens - Restock clean linens and towels in storage areas or deliver them to housekeeping or other departments as needed. - Keep an accurate inventory of linens to ensure adequate supply levels. Maintaining Cleanliness - Clean and organize the laundry room to maintain hygiene and operational efficiency. - Dispose of trash, lint, and other waste materials properly. - Adhering to Safety and Quality Standards - Follow health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment. - Ensure compliance with hotel and brand quality standards for laundered items.
