The ideal candidate will lead a team of groundskeepers and equipment operators, ensuring all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and safely. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, irrigation, aeration, and pest control. - Lead and mentor a team of groundskeepers, providing training and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. - Monitor and maintain golf course turf health, ensuring optimal playing conditions year-round. - Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment in a safe and efficient manner. - Assist in scheduling and planning maintenance projects and special course preparations. - Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. - Communicate effectively with management, golf staff, and team members to ensure smooth operations. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemicals, and equipment. **COMPETENCIES -** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
