Great Oaks Landscape is expanding its team to more effectively follow through with a growing number of design requests for the most creative, cutting-edge, and timeless landscape installations. As a Landscape Designer/Architect at Great Oaks, you will be a central part of creating designs for a range of projects including large residential estates, new home construction, and subdivision design, as well as commercial offices, public spaces, and institutional spaces. In this position, you will work directly with the design lead to conceptualize, finalize and detail our client's outdoor spaces. Site inventory and analysis, in addition to occasional site layout and client meetings, provide opportunities to work outside the office in the natural environment we all love. This position is key to Great Oaks' continued growth and one in which you will be joining an outstanding team of eight other landscape architects and designers. **SKILLS REQUIRED:** - Excellent hand graphic and computer modeling skills - Knowledgeable in creating construction details as well as plant design - Strong communication and organizational ability - Teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential - Must be able to manage time and projects effectively - Proficiency in AutoCAD 2013, Lumion, SketchUP, Adobe Creative Suites - Working knowledge of Google Earth (or other aerial imaging program) - Microsoft Office - Design-build experience is a plus **EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:** Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture or a similar program (a design-focused degree, as opposed to research) is required. ***If you have a portfolio, please include that along with your resume.***
