**Kitchen (Restaurant) Manager #10** The Texan Stores is seeking a full-time Kitchen Supervisor to lead kitchen operations at our store in **Schulenburg, Texas**. The Texan is not your typical convenience store. Our stores are large and beautifully designed with a style that represents the state we live and work in. We serve a variety of merchandise commonly found in convenience stores, and much that is not. Our stores also contain full kitchen operations serving freshly made to order food and grab and go options. Some call us "a restaurant that serves gas". The successful candidate for this position will be a savvy kitchen leader that knows how recruit and manage a winning team, drive food sales, and lead successful kitchen operations. Requirements: - 3+ years in a kitchen/food service management position - Strong leadership skills, Excellent communication skills - The ability to manage time effectively and determine appropriate prioritization - Coach and lead team to excellence in food service operations - Complete daily paperwork and audits - Ensure that the kitchen is clean and well stocked - Promote sales traffic in the kitchen area - Liaise with vendors Job Type: Full-time Starting Pay: - $20.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental insurance - Flexible schedule - Health insurance - Vision insurance Experience level: - 3 years Shift: - Morning shift - Evening shift - Overnight shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Schulenburg, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: - Kitchen management: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
