About the Job: The Nutrition Group has an open position of Kitchen Manager for School Food Service. This position entails overseeing food production and staff training at a large K-12 School Cafeteria Operation. Duties to Include: Understanding National School Breakfast Program Understanding National School Lunch Program Food Preparation on a large production scale Utilizing Kitchen Equipment Meeting Company’s Expectations Understand Company’s Food Concepts Daily Production Records and Paperwork Facilitate the execution of catered events as needed Work with regional chefs to develop and implement recipes Training School Cafeteria Workers: Food Production and Recipes Utilization Understanding Functions of Kitchen Equipment Meeting Company’s Expectations Understand Company’s Food Concepts Qualifications: At least 1-2 years staff management Food Service Experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with reading recipes and basic math conversions Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Valid Driver’s License Must pass criminal background check The Nutrition Group is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all qualified applicants.
