Job Overview: CatchAir is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Kitchen Help team member to assist in the daily operations of our kitchen. This role is responsible for food preparation support, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, restocking inventory, washing dishes, and ensuring all food items are prepared and presented with quality and care. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in cleanliness and organization, and is willing to support the kitchen team wherever needed. ## Responsibilities - Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen setup - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen area - Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly - Restock food items, supplies, and packaging as needed - Assist with receiving and organizing inventory deliveries - Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines - Take direction from the Kitchen Lead and management team - Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment - Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties - Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts ## Requirements - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Reliable transportation and punctual attendance - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs - Weekend and holiday availability required - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards - Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not required ## Schedule - Shifts may range from 4–8 hours - Weekend work is required - 20-25 hours a week - Holiday availability may be needed based on business demands Pay: $17.50/hour Location: 931 Carmans Rd, Massapequa, NY 11758 Catch Air *is an* *Equal Opportunity Employer* *, committed to fostering a diverse workplace.
