The salary range for this position is $19.24 � $22.03/hr based on the 2026-2027 salary schedule between ISD #197 and SEIU Local #284. Hours: 7:15 AM - 1:45 PM (6 hours per day w/ 30 minute unpaid break) Job Summary: Assist in forecasting daily meal needs and communicates accordingly with person in charge. Assist with preparing and serving meals for students, staff and special functions. Effectively operates the Point of Sale System, handles money, and prepares bank deposits. Ensures that each reimbursable meal sold meets USDA requirements. Performs a variety of kitchen cleaning duties. Assist with setting up serving line and serves meals according to meal patterns. Projects a positive & professional image of themselves, their school and the Child Nutrition Program to all customers, staff and parents. Must be able to work as a team member willing to perform any duties assigned to make the department run smoothly and may be requested to work at another location.
