**Spanish Schoolhouse, the largest Spanish Immersion preschool in the country, is growing and we are seeking a Part-Time English Kindergarten Teacher** for our Pearland campus. Come join our mission to create a bigger & brighter future for children! **Responsibilities of a Part-Time ENGLISH KINDERGARTEN TEACHER include:** · Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students. · Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning. · Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline. · Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success. · Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning. · Documenting children’s daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress. · Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times. **Requirements of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER include:** · Bachelor's degree required · Teaching certification · Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development · Previous teaching experience · Speak, read, and write English fluently **Preferred Skills and Abilities of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER include:** · K-5 teaching experience **Benefits of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER include:** · Generous tuition discount · Dental/Vision insurance · Ongoing professional development · Work with a diverse, fun, and supportive team · Hugs & Smiles Daily **Schedule** **of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER** · 8:30am - 2:30pm · Tuesday and Thursday with the possibility of additional hours
