JT019- INJECTION MOLDING SET UP TECHNICIAN

In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA. ### Responsibilities: - Perform mold installation, removal, and changeovers on plastic injection molding machines according to production schedules. - Set up and adjust machine process parameters to ensure product quality and operational efficiency. - Execute machine, mold, and auxiliary equipment set-ups prior to production start-up. - Verify proper operation of molds, cooling systems, and production equipment. - Perform production start-ups and make process adjustments to meet quality specifications. - Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot process deviations as needed. - Identify and resolve issues related to molds, equipment, and manufacturing processes. - Perform material and color changeovers in accordance with production requirements. - Complete documentation related to mold changes, process parameters, and production activities. - Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments to optimize processes and minimize downtime. - Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. - Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process efficiency. ### Qualifications: - **High School Diploma required; Technical Degree in Mechanical Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.** - **Previous experience in mold setup, machine setup, or plastic injection molding operations.** - Knowledge of plastic resin processing parameters and injection molding processes. - Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and making process adjustments. - Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation. *Quality Consulting Group, LLC is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.*
