Jr. Electronics Product Engineer

## Description We are seeking a motivated Jr. Electronics Product Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of electronic products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure products meet ISO 9001 standards, customer expectations, and manufacturing requirements. **Essential Functions** include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing and production related issues - Support product testing, validation, and failure analysis activities to ensure product quality and performance standards are met - Conduct root cause analysis on defective products both in-house and in the field, and recommend corrective actions, design improvements, or installation modifications - Develop, implement, and maintain testing processes and systems used for the validation and verification of electronic products throughout the manufacturing process - Create, update, and maintain technical documentation required for the production and support of new and existing products - Assist in the development of product manuals, technical instructions, and troubleshooting guides for internal and customer use - Other duties as require **Supervisory Responsibility**This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. **** **Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**This is a full-time position. Hours of work are expected to align with REI’s normal business hours, Monday-Friday. **Required Education and Experience** to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. - Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering (CE/CET), or associate’s degree with 2 years of applicable experience - Ability to read, and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams - Proficient in the use of standard electronic testing equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related diagnostic tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Basic understanding of audio and video system components, functionality, and integration - Foundational knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP **Travel**This position does not require routine travel; however, occasional travel may be necessary to support customer-related matters, attend industry seminars and conferences, and stay informed on emerging technologies and industry advancements **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
