With coast-to-coast operations, GEMCO delivers safe, efficient, and innovative solutions across diverse markets. **Position Summary** The Mechanical/HVAC Journeyman is responsible for the assembling and installing of HVAC units to new and existing construction projects, as well as assist Foreman in running projects. Act as trainer to apprentices. **Primary Responsibilities and Duties** - Must be able to run spiral duct, TDF, S&D - Lead a crew - Able to cut duct, measure, offsets - Familiar with different hanging systems - Build and level curbs on decking - Must have own set of tools to include: basic hand tools, power tools ie: impact drill, Sawzall **Traits/Competencies** - Ability to take direction - Flexibility - Resourcefulness - Decisiveness - Initiative - Dependability
