If you believe this opportunity is right for you, we welcome you to apply today! ***Who We Want*** Miller Industries is seeking a **Journeyman Electrician - 1st Shift** for our north location in Fenton, MI. Our 1st Shift hours are Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with some overtime hours on Saturday and/or Sunday as needed for production. **This is an excellent opportunity to work at same indoor location every workday.** ***What You Will Be Doing*** - Install wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints. - Install control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc. - Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints. - Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments and equipment. - Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threader, and conduit bender. - Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition. ***What You Get Paid*** The position pays a competitive hourly rate.
