Jockey Driver- 3rd Shift (10pm-6am)

**Purpose:** The Jockey Driver will operate both gasoline and diesel-powered Jockey/Stake body trucks to make material movements. **** **Essential Functions:** - Receive instructions from supervisor - Perform Driver’s Daily Checklist on trucks used - Check Fuel, oil, water, etc. Test steering, motor, brakes etc. for proper operation. Notify supervisor if repairs are needed - Move trailers for all plants on the Reading facility - Deliver trailers and facilitates weighing and logging moves - Perform duties of the metal handler classification as required - Strap down and secure loads at RDC - Make local deliveries and moves as needed - Operate lift truck, wheeled loader, and bobcat - Keep tools clean and equipment clean, properly stored and in good working order - Maintain good housekeeping in work area **Physical Requirements:** - Walking or standing 80% of the shift - Walking, bending, climbing, lifting, pulling, and pushing required - Lifting up to 55 pounds **Qualifications:** - High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma preferred but not required - Must be able to operate mobile equipment including but not limited to forklifts and cranes - Ability to organize material on machines as scheduled - Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed - Must be able to work multiple shifts as needed - Read micrometers, calipers and other measurement devices - Ability to work in a team environment - Basic computer skills - Manufacturing experience preferred
