Janitorial Technician

- Sweep, mop, and scrub production floors to remove dust, debris, and spills. - Empty trash bins, recycling containers, and scrap material receptacles. - Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, and break areas. - Wipe down machinery exteriors, workbenches, and high-touch surfaces (without interfering with production processes). - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed. - Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment safely. - Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and PPE usage. - Assist with minor facility upkeep such as replacing light bulbs or reporting maintenance needs. - Support special cleaning projects during plant shutdowns or maintenance periods. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in industrial or manufacturing settings. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods. - Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Medical, dental, vision, HSA, term life, AD&D, STD, LTD - 100% medical premium paid for by Panelmatic for the employee-only level medical coverage - 80% paid for by Panelmatic and 20% paid for by the employee on all other level medical coverage (ie employee plus child, employee plus spouse, family) - 401K, profit sharing, and ESOP contributions - Scholarships, educational reimbursement, paid volunteerism, and paid personal and professional development provided - PTO and paid holidays provided - Career advancement opportunities - Competitive wages - Family-friendly environment with average employee tenure above five years
