Job Skills / Requirements Part-Time Weekend Janitor / Cleaner Position Overview Location: Huntington, WV (1 Site) Job Type: Part-time, Weekends Only Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (6 hours/week) Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour Great part-time opportunity! Earn some extra cash! We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of a single designated facility over the weekend. This is an excellent fit for anyone looking for a consistent, light-schedule weekend position. Key Responsibilities Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and mop hard surface floors to maintain a spotless appearance. Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated outdoor dumpsters. Surface Cleaning: Dust furniture, wipe down counters, and sanitize high-touch surfaces. Restroom Upkeep: Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing paper products and soap as needed. General Maintenance: Perform other routine cleaning tasks as necessary to keep the building impeccably clean. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Completion of a standard high school or trade school course, or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Experience: Previous experience as a janitor or commercial cleaner is preferred, but we will train the right person! Skills: A thorough knowledge of proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and chemical handling is a plus. Attributes: High reliability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during your shift. Physical Demands & Accommodation This position requires regular walking, standing, bending, lifting, and utilizing standard cleaning equipment. What We Offer Steady, predictable weekend schedule.
