Janitor

We are hiring immediately for a 1st shift General Service Worker/Janitor for our Cleveland plant. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience preferably in a production environment. Cenveo offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. **Job Summary** Under general supervision, the job of the janitor is to perform a wide variety of custodial duties to provide a clean, orderly and safe work environment. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities** (\*Essential Functions) These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation. - Empty trash & replace liners in offices, diners, restrooms, and production areas - Vacuums all carpeted areas - Lifts up to 75 pounds through the day - Cleans and disinfects bathrooms and breakrooms - Sweep and mops all vinyl and concrete floors - Dust offices, diners, conference rooms and top of workstations - Cleans windows and glass doors **Other (Non-Essential) Functions** Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA. - Re-stock supply closets - Tracks custodial inventory - Other duties as assigned **Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions** - Regular exposure to manufacturing environment with one or more unpleasant hazardous conditions including but not limited to exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels, chemicals more than 50% of the work time. - Incumbent constantly required to walk, stand, carry, grasp, reach, push/pull, bend, stoop, twisting and use manual dexterity for prolonged periods of time. - Incumbent regularly required to hear, speak, and use color vision - Incumbent occasionally required to climb, carry and lift up to 75 lbs **CENVEO IS AN EEO EMPLOYER** - Minimum education is High School Diploma or Equivalent - Typically possesses 2-3 years of relevant work experience - Strong communications skills
