IT Services Intern

The position works on a collaborative team that support devices and software across BXP’s sites in Boston delivering a high level of customer service as well as supports security products and solutions under BXP’s information security program. The position is exposed to the core technologies that support front-line operations and talent of BXP. **Primary Purpose of Position:** Perform support and project responsibilities in the Information Technology (IT) Services team in the Information Systems (IS) Department. **Essential Functions** *End User Support* - Perform support of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other hardware. - Support the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office and other software. - Support the migration of desktops and laptops to Windows 10. - Review vulnerability scans and implement recommended changes. - Audit and provision software on desktops and laptops. - Support the use of operating systems and software applications including, but not limited to, Windows, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. Maintain and enforce software policies and standards. *Information Security Program* - Perform support of security solutions as assigned. *Project Work* - Work on assigned projects. **Requirements and Qualifications** - Possess a service orientation and attitude in working with others. - Be detail-oriented and methodical in solving problems and managing multiple projects. - Possess an aptitude toward learning technical concepts. Be results-oriented and a quick learner in supporting new products and technologies. - Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft solution and products. **Physical Requirements** - Involves work of a technical nature usually performed sitting such as operation of a computer. - Involves work of a technical nature usually performed standing in delivering and supporting hardware. - Involves movement between departments to facilitate work. - Involves lifting to installing and relocate computers and monitors. Must be able to lift 30lbs. **Internal and External Contacts** - This position regularly interacts in both verbal and written form with employees, vendors, and contractors of BXP. **Reporting Structure** - This position reports to the Manager, IT Services who provides supervision, guidance and evaluates work performance on a periodic basis. **Salary Range:** $18.00 per hour.
