Our client, an elite boutique investment bank, is seeking an Analyst 2 to join their restructuring advisory team. The Analyst will play a pivotal role in providing strategic advisory and financial solutions to clients facing complex restructuring and distressed situations. Your expertise will be essential in guiding clients through distressed debt, bankruptcies, reorganizations, and other restructuring transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain exposure to high-profile engagements that have a significant impact on the global financial landscape. ## Key Responsibilities **Strategic Financial Analysis:** Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including financial modeling, valuation, and benchmarking, to assess the financial health and viability of distressed companies. **Thorough Due Diligence:** Perform extensive due diligence on companies and their operations, identifying potential risks and opportunities. Prepare reports for senior management and clients, outlining findings and recommendations. **Transaction Execution:** Work with cross-functional teams to execute restructuring transactions, refinancing, asset sales, mergers, and acquisitions. **Effective Documentation and Presentation:** Prepare high-quality pitch books, confidential information memoranda, financial models, and other client-facing materials with accuracy, clarity, and professionalism. **Market Research and Insights:** Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes related to restructuring and distressed situations. Share insights with the team to inform decision-making. **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with senior bankers to coordinate and execute projects, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. ## Qualifications **No Visas at this time; No H1B transfers.** **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. **Experience:** 1+ years of investment banking experience in leveraged finance, M&A, restructuring, or related fields, ideally with exposure to distressed situations. **Technical Skills:** Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of financial analysis tools and software is a plus.
