This role ensures efficient stock flow, supports shipping and receiving operations, and drives inventory accuracy across all systems and processes. The Inventory Controller works closely with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent discrepancies, and ensure timely order fulfillment. **Key Responsibilities** - Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, movements, and transactions across all systems. - Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet operational and customer demand. - Track all incoming and outgoing inventory, including receiving, storage, and shipping activities. - Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits. - Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and variances. - Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow. - Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory within the warehouse. - Maintain and update inventory data in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). - Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, excess stock, and optimization opportunities. - Support demand planning and forecasting based on historical data and usage patterns. - Optimize warehouse layout, bin locations, and inventory processes to improve efficiency. - Ensure adherence to inventory rotation methods (e.g., FIFO) when applicable. - Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices. - Prepare and present inventory reports, metrics, and insights to management team. - Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures. **Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred). - 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related role. - Experience with inventory management systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. - Solid organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. - Ability to work on the warehouse floor for extended periods. **Preferred Skills** - Experience with NetSuite or other similar ERP systems. - Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations. - Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and RF devices. - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret inventory trends and metrics. - Basic understanding of inventory-related accounting principles. - Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). - Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills. **Physical Environment and Working Conditions** - Warehouse or distribution center environment with varying temperatures and noise le…
