We don't just respond to challenges; we rise to them. **What We Are Looking For** The Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Ceres Caribe’s operational efficiency by maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple departments. This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports procurement verification, monitors inventory movement, and identifies discrepancies that impact production and field operations. Success in the first 12 months includes establishing reliable inventory tracking processes, improving data accuracy, strengthening communication with vendors and internal teams, and supporting operational readiness for disaster recovery and resiliency projects. **What You Will Do** - Review procurement of goods against approved purchase orders to ensure accuracy. - Maintain accurate records of all inventory items including raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods. - Record production activity and inventory movement across multiple operational sites. - Create and monitor new inventory items within the inventory system. - Oversee and verify accuracy of internal product transfers. - Manage cyclical and periodic inventory counts. - Maintain open communication with vendors and internal staff to support operational needs. - Capture inventory levels through drone operation when required. - Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies involving operational activity. - Support multiple departments and perform other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field. - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in inventory control. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and MS Office applications. - Experience using inventory management software (ERP, WMS, or equivalent). - Ability to analyze trends and forecast inventory needs. - Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM). - Strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. - Ability to work well with coworkers in a fast-paced environment. - Reliable transportation and valid state-issued driver’s license. **Preferred Qualifications** - Bilingual skills in Spanish and English. - Experience in a wholesale, garden center, nursery, or farming environment. - Previous experience supporting multiple departments. **What to Expect** The Inventory Control Specialist will work in a dynamic operational environment that supports disaster recovery, vegetation management, and resiliency services.
