**Position Summary** This role is responsible for working with purchasing, receiving and dispatch to ensure all inventory control measures are carried out correctly. **Job Responsibilities:** - Manage and maintain the company’s packaging materials and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations. - Develop the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs and generating savings. - Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks. - Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability. - Ensure that incoming goods are well organized, receipted and controlled to sufficiently support production and goals of the business. - Ensure materials are ready and available for production when required. Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up production for whatever reason are followed up until they are received. - Provide routing management information on inventory performance, monitor, and evaluate consumables usage and costs. - Achieve 95% inventory record accuracy. - Perform cyclic stock checks. - Operate pallet jacks (hand and electric) as well as lifts for reaching top racks **Job Requirements:** - High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Possess excellent personal organization skills - Possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt - Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality. **Work Environment:** - Ability to work in a hot or cold environment. - Ability to be on feet for entire shift - Obey all safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities.
