This is an exciting opportunity for an X-ray Technologist who enjoys working in a dynamic setting were clinical expertise, critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork are valued. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, including effective closed-loop communication, and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Prior interventional vascular experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates who are eager to learn and grow. **A caregiver in this position works M-F| varying shifts| shared on-call rotation required, including approximately one primary call shift and one secondary call shift per week, with weekend call approximately every sixth weekend.**A caregiver who excels in this role will: - Utilize sterile or aseptic technique to scrub in and perform vascular, interventional, and surgical procedures per protocol. - Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. - Ensure patients safety and comfort during and after exams. - Demonstrate understanding of primary purpose of drugs used in IR, indications, contraindications, contrast drug interactions and major effects. - Record and maintain procedural data to include injection data, elapsed fluoroscopic time and procedural information. - Monitor equipment, systems, clean equipment, and effects timely repair. - Learn new technical information and skills through attendance of periodic in-service programs and participation in professional affiliation sessions. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology - Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing - Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist - Certification in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography: R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiology: R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) - Prior CT (Computed Tomography) experience - Comfortable interpreting cross-sectional anatomy during procedures **Physical Requirements:** - Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. - Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily. **Personal Protective Equipment:** - Follows standard precautions using personal pr…
