You'll work closely with our experienced IT team, gaining practical experience and exposure to various aspects of daily IT operations. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, learn about IT best practices, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our Information Technology Department. rn rnWHAT YOU WILL DO:rnrnCustomer Service/Technical SupportrnrnProvide excellent customer service as the first line of contact to the back office and branch staff. rnLog and track any support calls or issues in the internal tracking system. rnLearn about positive workplace interactions and maintaining positive customer relations.rnrnrnTroubleshooting rnrnPrioritize and escalate issues as required to ensure timely resolution while adhering to departmental SLA's.rnIdentify trends in support calls and develop documentation to address frequently reported problems and issues.rnProvide support on special projects to help drive the organization's mission.rnrnrnHardware InstallationrnrnAssist with new PC installations, setups, and moves. rnAssist with setting up new office IT hardware. rnTest hardware images for new deployments.rnrnrnSoftware InstallationrnrnAssist with installation and testing of applications for operational integrity and functionality. rnWork with internal members to update any needed applications and operating systems.rnrnrnSecurity ResponsernrnRespond to and investigate security events / alerts. rnWork with the security operations team to ensure that our endpoints and hardware get the necessary patches and remediations. rnrnrnrn rnQualifications:rnrnCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.rnStrong interest in Technology and Customer Service with a desire to learn.rnBasic understanding of networking concepts.rnFamiliarity with Windows OS, Office 365, and Imaging is a plus.rnExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.rnEffective communication and teamwork abilities.
