Position Overview: The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Technician is responsible for delivering comprehensive high-quality evidenced based care to clients requiring structured mental health treatment in an outpatient setting under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical license provider. Essential Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify mental health and substance abuse issues in Clients under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical licensed provider. - Complete thorough behavioral health intake and triage assessments under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical licensed provider. - Provide crisis prevention assessment and interventions to include administration of extended C-SSRs, crisis response plan, review coping skills. Coordinate or assist with acute or residential admission under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical licensed provider. - Facilitate group therapy sessions with a focus on promoting recovery and addressing clients' unique needs under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical licensed provider. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care under the direct supervision of a credentialed clinical provider. - Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment interventions as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes under direct supervision of credentialed clinical provider. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of Clients interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with Family Care Center standards under direct supervision of a credentialed clinical provider. - Participate in case conferences and team meetings to enhance communication and coordination of care. - Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health, incorporating evidence…
