This position provides instruction in Emergency Medical Science and advising for students pursing the Associate of Emergency Medical Science. Duties: 1. Maintains mastery of subject matter. 2. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements): 1. Associate’s degree in Emergency Medical Science; 2. One year of full-time or equivalent field experience in advanced EMS instruction;· 3. One year of full-time or equivalent experience as a Paramedic at an EMS agency; 4. NCOEMS Paramedic, NCOEMS Level I Paramedic Instructor (or obtain in the first 8 months of employment); 5. BCLS-I, ACLS-I, PALS-I (or obtain in the first 6 months of employment).
