Salary commensurate with education and experience. Monthly Type: 11 Month Tenure Track: Non Tenure Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Temporary/Permanent: Temporary - Not to Exceed: August 31, 2027 Other Conditions: To begin September 2026, pending position clearance and availability of funds. Continuation is subject to funding and program needs. Position may be converted from 11- to 9-month, and vice versa, subject to funding and program needs. **Duties and Responsibilities** 1. To provide leadership, coordination, and supervision of Student Support Services, a program under the Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) offering outreach and student services to low-income, first generation college students and/or students with disabilities to increase the rate that they persist in and graduate and/or transfer to a 4-year college or university. 2. Serves as Program Coordinator and Principal Investigator (PI), responsible for: 1) direction of fiscal functions in accordance with federal guidelines, institutional procedures, and program goals and objectives; developing and managing program budget, and meeting all federal, state, and institutional operations and reporting requirements; 2) staff leadership, including recruiting, orienting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff performance; supervising staff who coordinate the selection process for participants; overseeing staff who do academic needs assessments of participants; supervising staff in evaluation procedures and management of the student data base system; 3) programming, including designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating strategies to promote success and retention among student participants; planning and implementing a program using current educational practices, as well as experimental and creative approaches, which incorporate instructional technologies and various media in student learning; ensuring program objectives are in compliance with the grant proposal; 4) establishing and maintaining a network of TRIO and federal relationships, initiating and maintaining effective partnerships on campus with staff and faculty and off campus with the broader community supportive of the educational and social advancement of the target group; 5) overseeing volunteers and coordinating with advisory councils to develop and enhance planning and program strategies. 3. Program activities include counseling and guidance, academic skills assessment, academic tutoring, instruction in basic skills, and financial aid support for qualifying students. 4. Coordinates with existing campus services to support the needs of program participants. 5. Performs other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** 1. Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance, Counseling Psychology, College Student Personnel Services, Human Resources (to include both CTAHR and Personnel), Communications, or related fields; OR 2. Bachelor’s in Counseling and Guidance, Counseling Psychology, College Student Personnel Services, Human Resources (to include both CTAHR and Personnel), Communications or related field, and three (3) years related work experience. 3. Related fields include: Education (to include all degrees in this field), Family Resources, Human Development, Psychology (to include all degrees in this field), Public Health, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, and Student Services Personnel. **Desirable Qualifications** 1. Experience providing educational services with a background in designing, managing, or implementing counseling services, program management, and/or program budgeting. 2.
