Position Summary: The Instructional Designer is responsible for working independently, with limited supervision, to design, develop, and deliver high-quality instructional materials and training programs that align with our company objectives. Requires a higher level of creativity, problem-solving skills, and expertise in instructional design principles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create and design engaging, effective, and interactive learning materials, including eLearning courses or instructor-led training, job aids, and other resources. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and organize content, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience. Manage and execute the instructional design process for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Review and edit training materials for clarity, consistency, and instructional effectiveness. Propose and develop creative solutions to enhance the learning experience and improve existing training programs. Coach and provide guidance to lower-level professionals within the team, aiding in their professional development. Collaborate with peers and managers to address complex instructional design challenges and contribute to the improvement of learning processes. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications and Competencies: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Bachelor�s degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience). Skills Required: Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory. Proficiency in designing and developing a variety of learning materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments. Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. Practical knowledge of project management techniques to oversee instructional design projects from initiation to completion. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS); Basic graphic design skills or proficiency in using graphic design software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders (regular updates, manage expectations, gather feedback); change management skills (managing and communicating change). Ability to create clear and coherent instructional materials. Strong attention to detail for reviewing and editing training materials. Qualifications Preferred: Experience � Minimum 2 years� experience in training or facilitation role within the indirect auto finance market, banking/finance company/auto industry. Education � Advanced training or certifications in human resources, talent development, or related fields. Travel 10-20% - as required.
