With campuses in 25 cities and over 30,000 graduates, we’re building a more diverse and inclusive tech workforce by connecting talent to opportunity — from Fortune 500 companies to innovative startups. ### **What You Will Do** As an **Instructional Assistant** for the **Data Center** program, you will play a key role in supporting learners as they prepare for careers in IT infrastructure and data center operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Assist the Technical Instructor with delivering a structured, approved curriculum focused on data center skills. - Support remote classroom facilitation in an interactive, hands-on style. - Enforce and model appropriate remote classroom decorum and professionalism. - Take and track daily learner attendance in Salesforce and/or LMS. - Coordinate with the Instructor to prepare lab tools and resources in advance of sessions. - Lead instructor-approved study groups based on learner performance and needs. - Provide one-on-one tutoring and support for learners who are struggling. - Be prepared to step in and lead a lesson in the event of instructor absence (short-term only). - Ensure all classroom or borrowed equipment is returned and properly stored. - Monitor learner engagement, flag challenges early, and collaborate with instructors and coaches to provide support. - Implement individualized study plans for learners when necessary. - Assist with learner progress tracking, grading, and real-time data entry in Salesforce or Canvas. - Participate in instructional staff meetings and regular learner progress reviews. - Reinforce class policies including dress code, attendance, and participation. What You’ll Bring to Us #### **Professional Qualifications:** - Graduate of a Per Scholas training program (preferred), ideally in IT Support, Infrastructure, or Datacenter tracks. - Successfully obtained all certifications offered in the program (e.g., **CompTIA A+**, **CompTIA Network+**, or equivalent). - Strong foundational understanding of: - **Networking fundamentals**: OSI model, IP a…
