Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining inventory, and keeping accurate records. · Collaborate with leadership, physicians, and support staff to promote expanded pharmacy program utilization · Stay current on drug access programs and coordinate educational and outreach activities · Streamline refill requests and communication between pharmacy, prescribers, and patients · Recommend improvements to sales materials and workflow efficiency · Procure and distribute patient medications as requested per policies and protocols · Compound sterile and non-sterile products accurately following USP and standards · Deliver medications and supplies accurately and timely to care areas · Maintain medication stock levels, rotate and restock inventory, and prepackage medications for pediatric/neonatal use · Accurately enter medication orders and maintain required documentation and logs · Supervise assigned technician staff and processes, provide leadership, and address technical issues · Participate in departmental quality improvement activities, inspections, and data collection **What Sets BRG Apart:** At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
