Since 1951, we’ve been committed to delivering financial services founded on integrity and a people-first philosophy. **This position is a 6 month contract-to-hire.** **As a Information Systems Tech I,** you will be responsible for the installs, maintains and repairs computer systems, Cisco phone systems, hardware and computer peripherals at a variety of sites. **Why Join SCCU?** - **Member-Focused Mission**: Be part of a not-for-profit organization that reinvests in its members. - **Flexible Schedule Options** - **Career Growth**: We prioritize internal promotions and offer on-the-job training. **Information Systems Tech I Key** **Responsibilities** - Diagnoses and repairs PC hardware; loads and configures PC operating systems and applications from network resources following established procedures to ensure maximum uptime for end users. - Installs and tests PC hardware and peripherals and demonstrates the correct usage of these items in order to ensure correct hardware operation and user’s understanding. - Images PC’s, Troubleshoots SCCU software with Team members and engages vendor support if needed. - Provides second-level support for more complex issues that cannot be resolve by the help desk. Develops methods and processes to resolve common problems or limitations of systems in order to ensure timely and adequate follow-up. Documents problems and solutions in problem management database to provide a future reference for successful trouble resolution. - Ability to travel to remote locations to perform repairs and installations of equipment and software in order to meet internal team member’s needs. Provides after-hours support as scheduled in order to resolve internal team member’s questions and/or problems. - Consistently displays SCCU Core Values. Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job. - Coordinates the installation of and/or installs low voltage wiring through ceilings and walls.
