We offer an entrepreneurial environment that promotes a culture of innovation, growth, and inclusion. **The right Candidate will:** - Mechanical and Electrical-Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance - Previous Maintenance mechanic experience **What you’ll need:** - Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment - Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and fabricate parts - Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices - Industrial machinery assembler mechanic repair, install, adjust or maintain industrial production and processing machinery - Examine parts for defects such as breakage or excessive wear - Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs - Record parts or materials used and order to requisition new parts or materials, as necessary - Record repairs and maintenance performed - Study blueprints or manufacturers manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery **What we offer:** - On the Job training - Competitive compensation - Medical/Dental/Vision coverage starting after 30 days - Paid vacation after 90 days - Paid holidays - 401K with a company match - Paid uniforms, internal metatarsal boots and all other PPE - Apprenticeship program for Millwright and Machinist - company paid! - Tuition reimbursement program and more! **What we do:** SMS group is the leading partner in the world of metals.
