### **Industrial Hygienist III/IV** #### **Overview** Seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist to identify, evaluate, prevent, and control workplace environmental hazards that may impact employee health, safety, and well-being. This role supports occupational health and safety initiatives in a regulated industrial environment. #### **Compensation & Benefits** - Salary: **$100,000–$130,000** (based on experience) - 401(k) with employer match - Comprehensive medical, financial, and wellness benefits - 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts for most positions) - Tuition reimbursement and professional development - Work-life balance focused environment #### **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related science/engineering field - **Industrial Hygienist III:** Minimum 5 years of relevant experience - **Industrial Hygienist IV:** Minimum 9 years of relevant experience - **Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)** certification strongly preferred #### **Key Responsibilities** - Identify, evaluate, and control workplace environmental hazards - Conduct exposure assessments for noise, lead, asbestos, ventilation, lighting, and other occupational risks - Recommend and implement hazard control measures - Collaborate with safety, medical, and management teams to improve workplace safety - Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and corrective action recommendations - Conduct industrial hygiene audits and program assessments - Deliver employee training on occupational health and safety - Support continuous improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance #### **Required Skills** - Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene principles, practices, and applicable regulations - Ability to independently manage complex assignments and exercise sound judgment - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Strong communication and presentation abilities with all organizational levels #### **Additional Requirements** - U.S. Citizenship required - Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check - Participation in a random drug testing program
