In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of Individualized Education Program (IEP) compliance, guiding the development, implementation, and evaluation of services in accordance with DESE and IDEA regulations. You will act as the primary liaison with school districts and families, support the professional growth of new teachers, and ensure every student’s educational experience is aligned with their unique strengths and needs. If you're passionate about educational excellence, student advocacy, and working in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply and help shape bright futures at Latham. **Location:** Brewster, MA **Requirements:** - Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field - MA DESE Administrator Licensure (e.g., Special Education Administrator, Principal/Assistant Principal, or equivalent) - Minimum of 3 years of experience in special education with IEP compliance responsibilities - In-depth knowledge of Massachusetts special education regulations and IDEA - Strong mentoring, communication, and organizational skills - Experience with IEP meetings, triennial evaluations, and state assessments (MCAS/MCAS-Alt) - Valid driver’s license - CPR, First Aid, and CPI (or willingness to obtain upon hire) - MA Special Education teaching license preferred **Benefits:** - Generous 5 weeks of Paid Time Off - Top-notch health plans (with Latham covering the first 75% of the deductible through an HRA) - Tuition reimbursement for continuous learning - Childcare reimbursement - 403(b) Retirement fund match to secure your future (up to 5%!) **Key Responsibilities:** - Schedule, facilitate, and ensure compliance of IEP meetings, triennial evaluations, and required assessments - Serve as the liaison with school districts, parents/guardians, and advocates for all IEP-related matters - Review and monitor IEP documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance - Oversee IEP implementation and ensure delivery of services and accommodations - Coordinate state-mandated assessments and ensure appropriate accommodations - Support and mentor first-year teachers, offering guidance and feedback - Track IEP timelines and quarterly reporting obligations - Maintain accurate IEP records and support staff training in documentation and goal tracking - Collaborate with education and clinical teams to align programming with IEP goals - Assist with audit preparation, student intakes, and data reporting - Participate in the school’s administrative on-call rotation and respond to incident notifications Latham Centers, Inc.
