Two to three years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, word processing and data entry on computers. Employee must be able to walk for 4 hours. Job requires occasional bending/stooping/squatting/crouching/kneeling, climbing, reaching above the shoulder and pushing/pulling. Job requires occasional carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds. Job requires employee to use both hands for repetitive actions involving simple/firm grasping and fine manipulation. Employee must possess hearing and speaking abilities to monitor equipment and communicate with employees, students, and parents. The Board of Education and Superintendent may approve alternatives to the listed qualifications. CONTRACT: 10 months WORKING HOURS: 7 hours daily, usually between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. REPORTS TO: Indian Education Coordinator EVALUATED BY: Indian Education Coordinator GRADE: R SUPERVISES: Does not supervise ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist in preparation of grant applications, budgets and reports for Title VI from the Department of Education Office of Indian Education. Assist in preparation of grant applications, budgets and reports for Johnson O'Malley (JOM) from the Cherokee Nation. Prepares payroll requisitions for Title VI personnel and including contract tutors and maintains payroll records. Prepares all requisitions for Operation Eagle expenditures. Coordinates all Operation Eagle information to the public and stakeholders regarding Title VI and JOM programs. Maintain current records on Title VI students. Enrolls new students in Title VI and JOM Programs. Annually prepares and submits documentation to the Cherokee Nation for District Cherokee Tag monetary award.
