Inbound Team Lead - Jumia (Full Time)

What you will be doing Lead, mentor, and develop a team of inbound associates. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance expectations, and updates. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of inbound goods. Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments. Monitor and manage daily inbound workflow, adjusting resources as necessary to meet operational targets. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Work closely with other departments, including Outbound and Inventory, to coordinate activities and resolve issues. Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inbound shipments. Implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors. What we are looking for Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing or logistics and Supply Chain environment at least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
