About the Position The IS’s skills directly influence client tenure, as a poor conversion can create ongoing issues that lead to termination. Their accuracy in setting up billing directly affects revenue. Clients should provide all tax accounts prior to the first process when possible, and any missing tax account numbers must be tracked and billed until all accounts are received. The IS maintains thorough working knowledge of all department functions, procedures, and activities, and can obtain results through others to gather missing paperwork and follow up on outstanding tasks. This position has no direct reporting responsibility and reports to the Implementation Supervisor or Manager. Key Competencies and Background Excellent organizational skills and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Top-notch written and verbal communication skills Extreme attention to detail while maintaining a broad perspective PC literate (Windows, communications tools, etc.) College degree and/or prior experience in a payroll or customer service environment preferred Internal operations experience preferred Strong working knowledge of payroll applications, tax regulations, and payroll laws Duties Interact with clients in person or by phone to convert new starts, resolve startup issues, and manage the transition from implementation to client services Delivers initial and ongoing training; sets up and trains clients on RPO (Ready Pay Online), Time & Attendance, HRnext, Nimble, and benefit‑accrual policies Coordinates interdepartmental activities; identifies and resolves interdepartmental procedural issues; assists other departments as needed Tracks and follows up on missing tax accounts; escalates critical situations to management Maintains required desk organization; prepares reports and written correspondence; attends department meetings Understands department attendance policies and current department and company goals and objectives Answers incoming calls promptly (within three rings) and responds to messages within one hour Completes special projects accurately and on time; maintains a professional, positive demeanor always Compensation & Benefits $40-60k DOE Medical, Dental, Vision Paid holidays A great office environment Type & Location Full-time, Exempt position Las Vegas, NV – On-site at QTS Payroll office #LI-Onsite Thank you for considering this opportunity.
