This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about social impact and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The Specialist, Impact will report to the Vice President, Impact and will be an active member of Covista’s Impact team. Positioned within the Corporate Affairs department, the Specialist partners closely with the Foundation leadership, accounting, and legal teams to ensure the Impact function and the Covista Foundation operate with excellence, compliance, and impact. - Administer GiveSmart donor management system; maintain accurate and up-to-date donor files. - Process all donations and distribute acknowledgement tax letters in compliance with IRS requirements. - Build, track and invoice all pledge receivables; generate reports for the Board of Directors and support monthly reconciliations. - Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including invoice and grant payment processing; collaborate with the accounting team on financials and cash flow management. - Maintain complete audit files; support reconciliations monthly, quarterly and annually; assist with annual audit and tax filing requirements. - Oversee state and federal fundraising registrations; monitor compliance requirements and deadlines - Coordinate Board meeting logistics including scheduling, materials preparation and distribution; draft and maintain Board meeting minutes. - Support the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and Foundation events; coordinate employee giving and volunteer engagement initiatives tied to Foundation priorities. - Manage relationships with Foundation vendors and service providers; track contracts, renewals and deliverables to ensure compliance with agreements. - Conduct research on potential nonprofit partners and grant…
