They will learn, through hands-on application, how to design a wide variety of low voltage projects. This person will work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with the Project Management Team to produce construction documents, assist in project specifications and assist in the construction administration process. The ICT Engineer II will receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects, tasks or assignments. May work independently, consistently exercising discretion and independent judgment on individual work, or may work under immediate supervision. May serve as lead on routine projects, tasks or assignments of limited scope. The ICT Engineer II will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives. **Essential Functions** **Assist in Production of Low Voltage System (ICT, Security, A/V) Engineering Deliverables (75%)** - Support the production of BIM / CAD deliverables including Revit models and AutoCAD drawings to meet the design requirements of the project - Perform intermediate design tasks under a senior engineer’s supervision - Provide project delivery support to the project team, including electronic document and BIM model management as required to facilitate project submissions and completion of deliverables - Work collaboratively with other technical trade leads (MEP, BAS, EPMS, ICT) to ensure multi-discipline coordination - Successfully complete assigned BIM / CAD production work within the budget and deadlines as outlined by the project team **Assist in Pre-Construction Activities (10%)** - Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports of findings - Collect data and other information for construction documents - Prepare project design and construction documents - Basic editing and writing of project specifications **Assist in Construction Activities (15%)** - Work as part of the engineering team and interact closely with the project management team - Review shop drawings and submittals - Review and respond to RFIs - Review and complete punch lists and project close out documents - Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders - Update and maintain shop drawing and RFI log **Technology, Digital Tools & AI-Enabled Efficiency** - Leverage AI-enabled and digital tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support consistent, high-quality work output. - Identify opportunities to improve processes and demonstrate a continuous learning mindset, seeking out new technologies, skills, and methods that elevate individual and team performance. - Adapt to emerging technologies and evolving digital workflows, actively supporting the integration and adoption of innovative tools across the organization. **Completion of Assigned Tasks and Deliverables on Time and on Budget** *Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned* **Position Requirements (Advanced level for all the following)** - Knowledge of networking (copper and fiber optic) systems, cabling, and components - Knowledge of Audio Visual (AV), Access Control and CCTV systems and components - Skilled at using A…
