We are interviewing for a full-time HVAC Technician in the Lubbock West Texas area. The HVAC Technician is responsible for the inspection and control of all preventive maintenance and repair of building and facility mechanical systems and related services. The working HVAC Technician must foster teamwork, cooperation, and results while monitoring efficiency, productivity and fiscally responsible. Please note that this position may require travel to other locations within the contract as required. The following are key responsibilities associated with this position: Job Duties: - Knowledge of contractual requirements and creation of schedules. - Utilizes Tsheets timekeeping daily, logging in and out for lunch. - Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain organization. - Maintains, repairs and ensures all equipment is in proper working condition including HVAC systems, water treatment systems and emergency generator systems and various other mechanical systems. - Orders replacement items through purchasing, and works with vendors regarding repairs to existing equipment. - Submits receipts on a weekly basis to the corporate office for processing. - Perform any additional duties on an "as required" basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual responsibilities. - Issue reports and summaries as required. - Maintain appropriate records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes. - Resolves clients' concerns, conducts follow-up calls and makes onsite visit inspections for satisfactory job performance. - Create estimates as needed. Familiar with RS Means. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - The HVAC Technician will have 2+ years’ experience in the Operations & Maintenance of building operational systems including HVAC, Fire Suppression Systems, Environmental (to include Oil Water Separator Servicing) and Water Treatment procedures. - The HVAC Technician will be proficient with MS Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project), possess outstanding written and oral communication skills. - Required education: - High school or equivalent Required license or certification: - Driver's License - HVAC License/Certification - EPA Universal or EPI I and EPI III Available Benefits: - Medical - Dental - Vision - Flex Spending - Life - Long and Short Term disability - Supplemental, spouse & child life - Accident Insurance - Critical Illness Insurance Pay Range $24.62 per hour + $5.55 per hour Health and Welfare up to 40 hours per week (These monies are used for your benefits) EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER…..We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
