HVAC Technician

**Position Summary:** The HVAC Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of HVAC systems and associated processes. **Role and Responsibilities:** - Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites - Execute HVAC preventative maintenance procedures, daily checks, inspections - Review specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design, drawings, and blueprints - Obtain supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogs - Analyze problems and identify corrective measures - Extensive troubleshooting of all site-wide HVAC and associated Process Equipment, Plant Utility & Facility Refrigeration Systems, Air Handlers, Supply Air Systems, Exhaust Systems, Cooling and Heating Coils - Additional duties as directed by job site foreman, project manager, and supervisor **Essential Skills & Characteristics:** - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers - Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality - Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner - At times may perform clerical/administrative duties - Maintain good documentation and record keeping - Participate in site housekeeping - Knowledge of cooling tower water chemistry and control systems **Educational & Experience Requirements:** - High School Diploma or relevant field experience - 5 years of Field Experience, trade school or apprenticeship - OSHA 10 certification - Appropriate State/Federal certifications/licenses - Advanced knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems - Understanding and development of daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) *AZ Corporation is an employee owned, tobacco-free, equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate based on marital status, race, color, creed, gender, sex, religion, national origin, gender identity, age, veteran status, union affiliation, physical or mental disability, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, or other legally protected status*
