The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial specialized ventilation, cooling, and air handling/conditioning units. This role requires a hands-on approach and the capability to work independently in various environments, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC/R systems for our clients. Employee will be provided Company vehicle and fuel card. Work sites are in and around the Greater Columbus, Ohio area. **Goyette Mechanical** is proud to be a Union Contractor. **Job Description:** - Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems in Industrial and Commercial settings - Perform routine inspections, start-ups, and diagnostics on Mission Critical ventilation and cooling equipment - Conduct repairs on appliances and peripherals related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions - Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment for proper billing. - Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication ## Requirements **Skills and Requirements:** - 3 + years proficiency in HVAC/R systems repair. - Experience in field service operations related to emerging HVAC/R technologies - Strong understanding of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration systems and their components - Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction - Experience troubleshooting, problem-solving, and making necessary adjustments for optimal HVAC/R system performance - Competence in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. - Valid Driver’s License - Ability to pass standard pre-employment and jobsite-specific background checks - Demonstrated success working independently as an HVAC/R Service Technician. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Local to the Greater Columbus area (within 60-minute drive) · - Electrical troubleshooting skills · - 2+ years Controls experience · - 5+ years diverse HVAC/R experience: residential, commercial, & industrial · - Mission Critical experience or familiarity. · - Service Titan or similar experience. · - Google Sheets and/or SmartSheet experience. ·
