In this role, you'll deliver high-quality HVAC service and repairs, provide transparent pricing, and create a positive experience for every customer getting it right the first time. You’ll also mentor junior techs, uphold safety and compliance standards, and support the company’s commitment to integrity and professionalism. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform thorough HVAC inspections including health & safety checklists - Complete service correctly the first time, meeting quality and code standards - Communicate clearly with customers using written option sheets and visual reports (including pictures) - Provide accurate, transparent pricing for all repair and service options - Execute proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and follow-up protocols - Document all services, collect fees, and submit records promptly - Support apprentices and fellow technicians with troubleshooting and development - Coordinate part orders and prepare for daily service calls - Record materials used for accurate job costing and inventory tracking - Facilitate rescheduling when service can’t be completed on the initial visit - Keep the company truck clean, stocked, and properly inventoried - Protect customers’ homes during service and leave areas cleaner than found Promote service memberships and explain benefits to customers - Report safety concerns and support management in team decision-making - Valid driver’s license with no more than 4 points - Must pass drug test and background check - High School Diploma or GED required - HVAC experience preferred (waived with manager approval) - Must be approved by company’s insurance carrier to drive - Strong organizational and documentation skills - Ability to interpret manuals, plans, and blueprints - Proficient with tablets, smartphones, and GPS navigation - Commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off - Vision insurance
