This role is based at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, a nationally recognized and highly visible public institution. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and customer service abilities to ensure the smooth operation of facility systems in a complex, public-oriented environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Operate, maintain, and repair building mechanical systems (HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing). - Respond to emergency and contract-related situations while on call. - Collaborate effectively with a wide variety of individuals, including those with disabilities. - Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly in both written and oral formats. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and federal security clearance requirements. **Qualifications** - HVAC Refrigerant License (required). - 3 years of experience as a licensed journeyman. - Strong organizational and customer service skills. - Excellent written, oral, and computer literacy skills. - Valid driver’s license with a strong safety record. - Ability to pass a security clearance administered through the National Archives and Records Administration. **Compensation & Benefits** - **Hourly Rate:** $50.00 per hour. - **Health & Welfare Benefit:** an annual health and welfare benefit amount of $10,587.20 that goes toward the payment of a health, vision and dental plan as well as life and disability insurance. - **Paid Time Off:** - 11 paid Federal holidays - 2 weeks of paid vacation (after one year of employment) - 1 paid Float Holiday - 56 paid hours of paid sick leave WORK Inc is a leader in the field of providing work opportunities for individuals with disabilities and is an equal employment opportunity company and encourages Individuals with disabilities and Veterans to apply.
