Primary Functions: Recruitment, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Employment Law and Compliance, Compensation and Benefits Administration, Payroll & HR Systems Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Manage staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding - Ensure job descriptions are current and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations - Develop training materials and performance management programs to ensure employees understand and have resources to complete their job responsibilities - Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date - Benefits administration including work compensation, unemployment, and CO FAMLI claims - Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution - Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team - Maintain company organization charts and employee directory - Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives - Conduct performance and salary reviews - Design and implement employee retention strategies - Implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures - Develop/maintain Employee Handbook and ensure all company policies are applied consistently - Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations - Supports every Hansen department and project, efficiently and effectively, furthering the company’s values. - Develop and maintain employee recognition program - Perform additional assignments as requested/needed. Travel Requirements: <5% Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience: - Four-year degree in human resources related field - Minimum 5 years experience in related field with background in recruiting - Strong understanding of Federal, State and local labor regulations affecting the industry and their effects on the company - PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications desired - Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Willingness to multi-task and work a flexible schedule as needed FLSA Classification: Exempt
